چکیده
This study is the first to propose use of aluminum saline slag as source in synthesis alumina pillared clays (Al-PILC). Aluminum was extracted from this waste using both alkaline and acid solutions were compared for preparation intercalation used Al-PILC. Variations parameters such [OH–]/[Al3+], Al/clay (mmol/g), clay/volume solution ratios temperature studied processes. The solids obtained characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption–desorption at ?196 °C, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning (SEM) energy-dispersive spectrometry (EDX), which confirmed that pillaring process successful. PILC (Al-PILCAE) (Al-PILCBE) extracts evaluated adsorbents three organic pollutants, namely bisphenol A (BPA), 2,6-dichlorophenol (2,6DCP) triclosan (TCS), batch mode. resulting adsorption capacities with montmorillonite (Mt) an Al-PILC prepared conventional method, namely, dropwise addition NaOH into chloride (Al-PILCCM). In all cases, effect factors pH, initial concentration pollutant, adsorbent dosages contact time studied. kinetic equilibrium results pseudo-first- pseudo-second-order kinetics, Langmuir, Freundlich Sips equation isotherms equilibrium. showed needed reach 30, 900 510 min BPA, 2,6DCP TCS, respectively. Moreover, data Al-PILCAE Al-PILCBE synthesized have excellent potential removing 98.46% 98.47% these compounds,
